Try the thing. Even if you’re not sure.

Try the thing. Even if you’re not sure.

We tend to think of “risk” as something completely big and dramatic, like quitting your job, moving overseas, or starting your life from scratch.

But what if the biggest life changes actually come from taking small risks, like…

Sending the message.
Saying yes to something new.
Speaking up.
Trying something new even though you might not be good at it.

These tiny risks might not seem particularly life-changing from the outside, but they are super powerful. Why? Because they shake us out of autopilot, wake us up from our reverie and stretch the edges of what we thought we were capable of.

And slowly, slowly, slowly… these tiny risks start to add up.

Each time you choose courage over comfort, you expand your world. All the things in life that once felt intimidating start to feel totally possible. You start to build trust with yourself and then life starts to feel a little less like something you’re simply managing and a little more like something you’re properly living.

And yeah, not every risk will work out perfectly. In fact, you might “mess up” more than you’ll succeed. But life is messy, and then we learn from the mess.

So, be unsure. Be scared.  Cause that’s where the good stuff lives – in the trying, the learning, and the muck-ups.

If life’s been feeling a little flat or “meh” for you… a little too predictable… start taking some small risks.

Say the rogue comment. Do something a little weird.

Because at the end of the day, small risks don’t only change what you do – they also change how you feel about being alive (for the better). And that’s worth everything, eh?

With love and living on the edge (of our comfort zone),
